SIA / BAL / OSH / OLH

Appearance:
The ideal cat is svelte, elegant, with long tapering lines, supple and well muscled
Size: Medium 		  Fremtoning:
Den ideelle kat er slank og elegant med lange, tilspidsede linier, smidig og muskuløs. Medium størrelse.
 

 
Head:
Medium size, in proportion to the body, well balanced; wedge shaped with straight lines. The wedge starts at the nose and gradually increases in width in straight lines on each side to the ears. There should be no whisker break in these two lines. The skull viewed in profile is slightly convex. 		Hoved:
Middel af størrelse, passer proportionelt til kroppen, velafbalanceret, kileformet med lige linier. Kilen begynder ved næsen og øges i bredden mod ørerne i lige linie uden at blive brudt af knurhårspuderne. Set i profil er kraniet let konvekst. 
   
Nose: Long and straight contiuing the line from the forehead without any break.Nose: Long and straight contiuing the line from the forehead without any break. Næsen er lang og lige, fortsætter i lige linie med panden uden nogen form for knæk. 
   
Muzzle: Narrow
Chin/Jaw:
Of medium size. The tip of the chin forms a vertical line with the tip of the nose		 Snudepartiet smalt. 
Hage/kæbe af middel størrelse. Den yderste del af kæben danner en vertikal linie med næsespejlet.
 

 

Ears:
Shape: Large and pointed, wide at the base. Placement:To continue the lines of the wedge.  		Ører:
Store, tilspidsede, åbne ved basen. Placeringen skal fortsætte kilens linier.

 

    
Eyes:
Shape: Medium in size, neither protuding nor recessed. Almond in shape and set slightly slanted towards the nose to be in harmony with the lines of the wedge.		 Øjne:
Middel størrelse, må hverken være udstående eller dybtliggende. Mandelformede, let skrånende mod næsen og i harmoni med kilens linier.
     
Colour:
Siamese/Balinese: Pure and limpid, bright intense blue. Foreign White must have vivid blue eyes.
Oriental/Javanese: Vivid, luminous green. 		 

Øjenfarve:
SIA/BAL: Rene, klare, lysende intens blå

OSH/OLH: Strålende, selvlysende grønne

Body:
Structure: Long and svelte, well muscled but still dainty and elegant. The shoulders are not wider than the hips. 		  Krop:
Lang, smidig, muskuløs, men stadig fin og elegant. Skuldrene ikke bredere end hoften.

 

  
Legs:
Long and fine, in proportion to the body. Paws small and oval.		 Ben:
Lange og fine, i proportion til kroppen. Poterne små og ovale.
     
Tail:
Very long; thin, also at the base; tapers to a fine point. 		  Hale:
Meget lang og tynd også ved roden; ender i en fin spids.
   
Coat Structure:
Siamese/Oriental: Very short, fine, glossy, silky and lying close to the body.

Balinese/Oriental Longhair: Fine and silky; of medium length on the body, slightly longer at the frill and shoulders and on the tail, which forms a plume. No wolly undercoat.		 Pelskvalitet:
SIA/OSH: Meget kort, fin, skinnende, silkeagtig, tætliggende. Næsten ingen underpels.
BAL/OLH: Fin og silkeagtig, af middellængde på kroppen, lidt længere ved kraven, på skuldrene og halen, som former en fjerlignende dusk. Ingen ulden  underpels.
     
Colour:
Siamese/Balinese:
Points: Mask in the face, points on ears, legs and tail. The colour on all points should be as even as possible. The mask must not extend over the entire head but is connected to the ears by tracings of colour.
Body colour: Even, slight shading on the flanks permissible but there must be a clear contrast between the points and the body colour. 		   Farve:
SIA/BAL:
Punkter - Maske i ansigtet, farver på ører, ben og hale. Farven på alle punkterne bør være så ensartet som muligt. Masken må ikke strække sig ud over hele hovedet, men skal være forbundet med ørerne via farvespor. Kropsfarven jævn, let schattering på flankerne er tilladt, men der skal være en klar kontrast mellem punkterne og kropsfarven.
     

Oriental/Javanese:
Even in colour, without tabby markings or shading in non-agouti varieties. Whiskers and eye brows in harmony with the body colour.

OSH/OLH:
Jævn i farven uden tabbymarkering eller schattering i de ikke-agouti varieteter. Knurhår og øjenbryn skal harmonere med kropsfarven.
     
Remarks:
Siamese/Balinese: Slight shading on the body harmonizing with the points' colour permissible. A deeper body colour is allowed in older cats. 		Bemærkning:
SIA/BAL: En let schattering, der harmonerer med punktfarven, er tilladt. En mørkere kropsfarve er tilladt hos ældre katte.
     
Faults:
Siamese/Balinese: Belly spots and spots on the flanks. White/lighter coloured hairs or ticked hairs (brindling) in the points. Bars and stripes in the points, except for Tabby Points.
Orientals; Tabby Bars in non-agouti varieties.		 Fejl:
SIA/BAL: Mavepletter og pleteter på flankerne. Hvide/lysere farvede hår eller tickede hår (brindling) i punktfarven. Ringe eller striber i punktfarven (gælder ikke tabbymaskede).
OSH/OLH:Tabbymønster i ikke-agouti varieteter.
     
Faults precluding the certificate:
Siamese/Balinese; Insufficient contrast between points and body colour.
Orientals: Eye colour which is more yellow than green.

Fejl. der udelukker certifikat:
SIA/BAL: Utilstrækkelig kontrast mellem punktfarve og kropsfarve.
OSH/OLH: Øjenfarve mere gul end grøn. 

     
Disqualification:
Siamese/Balinese: Any other eye colour than blue. 		  Diskvalifikation:
SIA/BAL: Enhver anden øjenfarve end blå.
